Food Industry

In the food industry, chilled water can be used as an additive in the processing of many food items. It can be used in the baking industry in the dough making process, as well as in the washing of fruits and vegetables and cooling offal.

Chiller Process

Bakeries have multiple uses for chilled glycol including:

 The production of milk involves a cooling down period where the pasteurization process heats the milk. To prevent the deterioration of the milk molecule the pasteurized milk has to be cooled to 32° F. 

Our food processing chillers are used in a range of settings including, but not limited to, frozen yogurt shops, commercial bakeries, wineries, and breweries.
